Pithoragarh to Dharchula

  • After breakfast, the group departs for Dharchula. Dharchula, located at an altitude of 940 meters above sea level, is a beautiful town nestled in the arms of the beautiful mountains of Kumaon Uttrakhand. Dharchula is surrounded by mountains on all sides and is divided into two parts by the Kali River. Today, as travelers cross the India-Nepal border, they enter the restricted area of ​​Kumaon and the Inner Line Permit is being processed for travelers today. At leisure, tourists can head to the Nepal side to explore the Nepalese bazaar. Stay overnight and have dinner at the hotel in Dharchula.

Today, tourists drive from Dharchula to Gunji passing through the beautiful villages of Chialekh, Garbyang and Nepalchu, enjoying the stunning views of mountains, waterfalls and rivers along the way. Meals and overnight stay are arranged in guest houses or private accommodations in Gunji.

On the way to Adi Kailash, we also see Kunti Parvat, Pandav Fort, Brahma Parvat, Pandav Parvat and Parvati Mukut. From Jyolingkong, we walk another 3-4 km to visit Parvati Lake (Gauri Kund) and Adi Kailash Temple. One can take a bath in the lake and take the holy water in bottles. After spending some time here, the travelers return to Gunjhi.

  • Today after breakfast, we drive to Om Parvat, which is the mountain with natural snow in the shape of "Om". After about 22 kms, tourists reach Nabhidang (4340 m), the viewpoint of Om Parvat. Spend some time here and then return to Gunji. On the way back to Gunji, enjoy the stunning views of Shesnag Parvat, visit Ved Vyas Gufa and perform puja at the famous Kali temple in Kalapani village. Return to Dharchula for overnight stay.
