Day by Day Itinerary
Arrival at Cochin
Activities
- You are greeted on arrival at Kochi International Airport/Railway station by The Ojas Travel representative and thereafter transfer to Hotel. Afternoon you can go for the sightseeing of Cochin. Here you can see the St Francis Church, the oldest Church in India, 500 year old Portuguese Houses, Chinese fishing nets, 16th century Synagogue, Jew Town and Mattancherry Palace, built by Portuguese, this Palace contains some of India’s most beautiful murals. Evening go for shopping. Overnight at The Gateway Hotel (Superior Sea View)

Thekkady (Periyar) (Travel Time - 04 Hrs)
Activities
- Morning after breakfast continue to Thekkady the famous wild life sanctuary of South India. On arrival check in at hotel. Periyar wildlife sanctuary, home to nomadic tribes of wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger and more. After noon Visit spice plantations like cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, coffee, tea estates etc. Overnight at Forest Canopy - Deluxe Cottage.
Thekkady (Periyar)
Activities
- Morning proceed for 03 hrs trekking in the sanctuary. Later proceed to visit spice market and spice plantation. Rest of the day free to relax in the resort and over night at the resort Forest Canopy - Deluxe Cottage
Houseboat (Travel Time - 04 Hrs)
Activities
- Today morning after breakfast, proceed to Alleppey, Known as the Venice of the East. On arrival check into a Premium Houseboat of Kerala Style. Cruise through the back waters is the fabulous way to explore the fascinating beauty of the backwaters. (Traditional Kerala food will be served). The houseboats are giant country Crafts, measuring up to 80 feet length. It looks great skill and meticulousness to construct these giants by tying huge planks of jack wood together, without the use of a single nail. Today these are the most exciting tourism product in India, which usually has one or two bath rooms, an open lounge, deck, kitchenette and crew comprising oarsmen and a cook. Pathanamthitta (Travel Time - 02 Hrs)

- After breakfast, disembark houseboat and proceed to Pathanamthitta. On arrival check in at hotel. In Pathanamthitta you can meet the masters of metallurgy at Aranmula where you will experience the fine art of making mirrors from metal. This craft has been in existence for no less than 1000 years and is still running well. These mirrors hold the place of the most sought after mementos and souvenirs worldwide.
- You can see huge wooden snake boats near Aranmula either in their yard or plying in the waters of the holy river Pampa. These vessels are the modified forms (for water sport) of those vessels built by the ancient rulers of kerala for attacking the enemies through the waterfront carrying up to 200 fighters.You can watch the masters of spinning and weaving, making cotton clothes using the traditional wooden looms in the ancient method of cloth manufacturing. The facility is run by the Govt. Of India under Khadi and Village Industries dept, to promote the ideals propounded by Mahatma Gandhi.
- Here you can also watch the extraction and purification of edible oils from the seeds through the preparation methods prevalent in medieval India. Recycling old cloth and other used materials into hard boards is another attraction here.

Kovalam (Travel Time - 04 Hours Drive) - Visit Konni Elephant Cage
Activities
- After breakfast what do you think of joining the Indian Tuskers at their own turf for a day (or more as you decide) bathing them in the local springs while they lay calm to be pampered by you, feeding them, climbing on their back and having a safari seated on top of these mammoth? You can also mingle with the mahouts and learn a lot about these terrific mammals. This facility is provided by the Government of Kerala, at the Elephant Cage at Konni. Later drive to Kovalam, the beach enriched with rich Greenery of Coconut Palms and laced with golden sands. On arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day free to relax and enjoy the beach. Overnight stay at the Travancore Heritage (Beach Grove)
