Adi Kailash Yatra, also known as Chhota Kailash Yatra, is a sacred pilgrimage in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is a lesser-known but profoundly spiritual journey compared to the Kailash pilgrimage to Mount Kailash, which is revered by Hindus, Buddhists and Jains. The route passes through the remote and picturesque Dharchula district, nestled in the Kumaon region, offering stunning Himalayan vistas, serene scenery and a deep cultural experience.

Day 1: Dharchula – Gunji/Nabhi/Napunche (3500 m), (4 hours drive). Overnight in Gunji

The pilgrimage begins from the starting point. Cross the bridge over the roaring Dhauli River to see the confluence of Kali and Dhauli. Drive along the Kali River through dense forests. There are many springs and waterfalls on both sides of the river. After reaching Chaleh, the group enters the Beas Valley area. The pastures of Chaleh are covered with green grass and flowers. Then comes the village of Garbhiang, which has been abandoned due to geopolitical and geological reasons. Here Kali meets Tinkar from Nepal. Gunji is the base camp for Aadi Kailash and OM Parvat.

Day 02: Gunji/Nabi/Napunche – Navidhang (3987mt / Om Parvat) - Gunji) (3hr Drive) Overnight Stay at Napunche

There are pine, bhojpatra forest in this region surrounded by innumerable wild flowers, this is the region of Musk, Deer, Monal and the highest stage of Himalayan wilderness. The OM Parvat’ smiles in front of the pilgrim.En route enjoy the darshan of -Kali Mandir, Kala Pani,Shesh Nag Parvat,Ved Vyas Gufa

Day 3: Qunchi/Nabhi/Naphunche – Jolingkong (Adi Kailash) (4280 m) – Qunchi (6 hours, by car) Overnight in Naaphunche

From Qunchi, we hike along the banks of the Kuti River to Nabi, where there is a temple and an almost hidden spring on a beautiful hill behind the village. From Kuti, go left and then right to Jolingkong. (Adi Kailash)
- Parvati Kund/Gauri Kund Parikrama and Aadi Kailash Darshan
- Worship at the temple of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati near Parvati Sarovar
- On the way we see: Brahma Parvat, Pandava Parvat, Pandava Fort, Parvati Mukut

Day 04: Gunji/Napunche – (Dharchula) ( 8hr Drive )
