The highlight of this trek is the Shrikhand Mahadev peak, which stands at about 5,227 meters above sea level and is revered as a representation of the mythological abode of Lord Shiva. The journey tests physical endurance and mental strength due to the steep climbs and unpredictable weather. The route also passes through holy sites, adding a spiritual substance to the adventure. The best time for this trek is usually between July and August, when the snow has melted.
